Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 November 2026
- No account, no sign-up, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
- Your progress, times, coins, settings and photos stay on your device.
- Payments are handled by Apple or Google. We never see your card details.
- We don't sell or share your information.
Who we are
Jigsaw Hub (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is developed and operated by Matthew Rigby, a sole trader based in Australia. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at support@jigsaw-hub.com.
Information stored on your device
To make the game work, the app saves the following only on your device:
- Puzzle progress, completed puzzles, best times and your time history
- Coins, hints, XP, level, daily streak and achievements
- Your settings (theme, sound, rotation and similar preferences)
- Copies of any photos you choose to turn into puzzles
This information is not sent to us. Deleting the app deletes it. Your device's own backups (for example iCloud or Google device backup) may include it, under your device provider's terms.
Your photos and camera
If you create a puzzle from your own photo, the app asks for access to your photo library or camera at that moment. The app only uses the photo you pick, makes a copy inside the app so the puzzle can be reopened, and never uploads it. You can change photo and camera access at any time in your device settings.
Purchases
Puzzle packs and the Jigsaw Hub Plus subscription are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is processed entirely by Apple or Google. We never receive your name, email address or payment details from them.
We use RevenueCat to confirm purchases and subscription status, so that what you've bought unlocks on your devices and can be restored. RevenueCat receives:
- a random, anonymous app user identifier (not linked to your name or email)
- your purchase and subscription records and the store's receipt
- basic technical information such as device type, operating system and app version, country, and the IP address of the connection
RevenueCat processes this information on our behalf to provide that service. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
App updates
The app may check for small content and bug-fix updates from Expo's update service (EAS Update). These requests include technical details needed to deliver the right update (such as platform, app version and update identifiers), and, like any internet connection, your IP address. They contain no personal profile and no game data. See the Expo Privacy Policy.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app schedules daily streak reminders locally on your device. No push-notification server is used and no data is sent anywhere. You can turn notifications off in your device settings.
Advertising and tracking
The app contains no advertising, no analytics and no third-party tracking. We do not use your device's advertising identifier. We do not sell, rent or share your personal information.
Children
The app is suitable for a general audience but is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Purchases are made through Apple or Google, whose parental controls (such as Ask to Buy and Family Link) apply.
Keeping and deleting information
Game data stays on your device until you delete the app. Purchase records held by Apple, Google and RevenueCat are kept for as long as needed to provide your purchases and meet legal and tax obligations. To ask us to delete the anonymous purchase records held for your app user, contact us. We'll explain any records that the law requires us to keep.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the Australian Privacy Principles, the GDPR in the UK and EU, or Californian law), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information about you, or to object to how it is used. We hold very little information. Contact us and we'll help with any request. You can also contact your local privacy regulator; in Australia, that's the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
Where information is processed
Our service providers (RevenueCat and Expo) may process the limited technical information described above in the United States or other countries. They are required to protect it in line with applicable law.
Security
Data stays on your device, protected by your device's own security. Information sent to our service providers travels over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles information, we'll update this page and the “Last updated” date. Significant changes will also be noted in the app or its store listing.
